Default Carolinas DE at Kershaw

New to S2k ownership and the Carolinas crew.
Curious that there are no DE events on the Calander and was wondering how active the S group were in track days, either collectively or as individuals. Is there any interest among the group - seems most like the informality of going to the dragon.

I'm planning to register for a DE track day at Kershaw in October - going with a buddy whose bringing his Z. These events are open to all sport cars, clubs and individuals if you didn't already know.

I dont recall there being a formal meet-up there, not that it would be a bad idea...

There are some members here who take advantage of track days. I have never been there but have heard about it before.

I've done a couple track days there, but surprisingly, not in my Honda. I was driving in the DE and my dad was in the solo, so we would share his car. It's always more fun to do max handling sessions is someone elses car Now that we are both in the solo class, I may be taking my car. I was thinking about the one in September. I've never been to one of the weekend track days. Something tells me that it gets pretty crowded.

If you see a white Merker smoking the Boxsters, that's either me or my dad Have fun!

You should easily be able to get up over 100 between turn 7 and 8 and probably between 14 and 1.

If you are doing the DE, it would be helpful to request an instructor who also drives an S2k.

Has anyone ever recorded his laptimes in an s2k?

http://www.turnonetrackevents.com/

turn one is the sponsor. ALL who may be interested should check it out.
My buddy and I are going Oct. 14/15 and will schedule by the 1st of Sept. Remeber event is rain or shine. Classroom instruction and track time. You can perfrom self tech-report. Cost is approx. @$210 (1day) $385 (2day) for early registration. We will likely go Saturday.

We can just be real informal about the group thing. Sign up on your own. If a bunch of S's show up - that would be great.
