Default Carolinas Fall Colors 2003 Thread

I am curious to see who is going to Fall Colors 2003. Please post in this thread if you are going, which group (moderate or aggressive) and when (ie. thurs night, fri morning) you are leaving to go.

Also, I am not sure what group (moderate or aggressive) to pick. What is aggressive classified as? Would it be equivalent to one our Wilmington runs?

See you there

haven't been on a wilmingon run yet.
if you feel comfortable pushing your car (and have good tire tread), go aggressive. i'm pretty sure the moderate crowd will be pretty spirited also.

as for me, probably leaving friday afternoon.

Matt,

Joyce and I are leaving Friday AM. We signed up for moderate but you guys could probably do aggressive okay. I really missed my aggressive opportunity on the OBX bridge

Bryan, Will you be heading up I77 to I-81? Maybe we can get a caravan started. Shelia is signed up too.

Hi guys! Ron and I plan to head up Friday morning...haven't really thought about a route yet, but would love to hook up with Golden Eagle in W/S or points nearby.

I've requested to be in Airgate's agressive group. How tough can it really be with our fearless leader???? Seriously, this will be my first Fall Colors, so I don't really know what the groups will be like. I would think both would be fun. If you've survived the Dragon and OuterBanks Run, you should do well in either.

Really looking forward to it!

I considered grabbing the Blue Ridge Parkway just across the VA border and taking that to Roanoke just for a change of scenery. I may still do that when I go up for the preliminary run next weekend.

I am down to lead a moderate group. I will be at CMP the week before (I HOPE NONE OF YOU GUYS HAS FORGOTTEN ABOUT THAT! ) so I expect to be quite mellow at FC (but more experienced with pushing the car limits so I may pull a Jekyl and Mr Hide on my group )

I think I will leave on Friday so I am up for the caravan.

I just signed up today. I went for the moderate group and sent a note to Rick requesting Airgate's group. I hope our Leader will pull some strings and get some familair faces in the group. I always seem to enjoy driving with those I know.

Anyhow, I am leaving Friday AM, so I plan to caravan up with some Carolina peeps. As the date nears, we can get a caravan thread going........
