For any Charlotte peeps in town this weekend, has anyone been to the Auto Fair?

Any good? Sage advice?

 

It is a blast!! I usually try and go every year. They have pretty much everything, with more classics then anything if I recall correctly? There are car auctions, lawn mower racing, food/drinks, vendors, car parts and tools for sale, and probably some other things I can't remember off the top of my head. You can easily spend about a day there with all the cars to look at, people to talk to, and things to watch.

Tickets are cheap but the food and drinks inside will get ya, so come prepared. I am not going to the dragon this year so I will hopefully make it to this sometime Sunday? I would highly recommend going!

 

Stop by zMax on Saturday to view some CCR-SCCA autocross as well. They'll be out there till 5 PM Saturday.

 

If I'm not doing anything Saturday I might head to zMax.

 

It's a two day autocross, so we'll be at ZMax both Saturday and Sunday. If anyone is curious about autox it's a great time to stop by and see what it's all about. Either way, the weather looks perfect for both events and should be a great weekend.

 

I may come to this instead of the Autofair...

 

 

This is when I kinda wish my car was street legal. Would be fun but I'm not messing with the trailer for a few auto-x runs.
