Charlotte Meet # II
Lisa,
I got stuck at work last night with a buggy problem that was driving me up the wall. Regrettably I am one of those people that doesn't leave until it is fixed!
Which is more of a bummer since my Digrappa X Brace is now in Charlotte and I was going to bring it by for everyone to see before I installed it this weekend.
How did everything go?

I think a good time was had by all.
As I recall, all Silverstone save "radred".
Brand new owners, "barndog" came by and got to hear about some of our many adventures as owners of such an awesome car.
Sorry to those who could'nt make it, maybe next time.

I had a great time as well. FYI I went to Hendrick Honda today to see the 2002 Suzaka Blue (sp?) s2000. Here's the deal: printed on the window sticker where the price is supposed to be are the letters "CVA". I went and asked a salesman what that meant; he said it means the car is a show car to be used in auto shows(must be one coming very soon in Charlotte) , that the car is NOT for sale and that it will be shipped to some other dealership later for other such events.
So what did I think of the color you ask? Glad you asked. I really like it. The exterior is much more low key than I expected; it almost seems as if there is a slight amount of silver blended in with the blue. The interior is similar; it's not light blue but rather a deeper medium blue and in fact when I first looked at it I thought it looked like charcoal gray. But then I looked closer and realized it really is blue. The dash, console, etc all seem to match nicely. It makes a completely different statement than all the other colors found on S2000s. That's my reaction.
Looking forward to another get together in "daylight" next time.

radred, Thanks for the "blue" report! I didn't get by the dealership today, but will try to this weekend.
Lisa, thanks again so much for hosting our get-together last night. The munchies and hospitality were awesome, and I think we all owe you some beer!
I really enjoyed meeting more Charlotte owners; let's definitely try to do a daylight run soon!
