Default Charlotte - University Area

Hello,

How is the University Area, pretty good? I know there are some other areas that are really nice, but we really want to keep the costs down until we are settled. Any leads on jobs around there? Both me and my wife are in financial services (mutual funds specifically) and have management experience. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me too.

Thanks,

Rob

We will be buying a house with a 2-car garage, so I am not that concerned about car theft. I am also very careful where I park my cars, hence the beater. Just out of curiousity, where is the college area you are referring to? Do you have an address or something so I can check the relative distance to the area we are looking at?

Thanks for the help,

Rob

i don't have the exact address but mostly all the apartment surrounding the uncc college area. but since you're buying a house with garage you should be fine. good luck

That sounds good, I will check that out. Thanks for all of your help. I can't wait to check out the local S2K scene down there. We have a pretty active group in MA, but it is such a short season due to the weather. I am really looking forward to the change of climate.
