Well, I've had it. This damn thing is pissing me off and I want it out, but I need help. Can anyone here help me pull the delay valve out of my car and bleed my system? I have no experience at this and I'm not comfy doing it myself, easy as it may be.

Maybe we can have a tech day where other afflicted AP2s can also have this surgery?

Well, I could possibly provide a location if enough interest... Or just have another tech day in general at my warehouse...

There are two ways to take care of the delay valve.

1) Modify the existing slave cylinder
2) Install an AP1 slave.

Which way are you planning on taking?

I'd like to do this as well

Since either way involves removing the unit and bleeding the system, I figure I might as well modify my existing rather than buy an 03 cylinder.

There is a DIY with detailed pics in the JDM Tuning forum I believe. The thing kinda ticks me as well...feels like a slipping clutch I have found unless you hit an absolutely perfect shift...then i feel it grab right away. Anyone else notice this.

Saki, No brake bleeding necessary, just the clutch hydraulics.

Uh, yeah....that's what I meant! I start thinking about bleeding systems, and I think brakes.
