Default Clutch Question!

Okay, so i just bought this S2000 not a week ago, and am already worried about what the guy DIDNT tell me when i bought it.

Driving back to columbia last night and decided to hear a little vtec. my cv joints are bad, (getting them swapped) so i baby the car mostly, but always nice to hear the engine. RPM's get to about 6k then jumped up. felt like my clutch slipped.

Any advice on my next move, should i keep driving on the clutch i have until i come up with the money for a new one?

ANY advice would be appreciated, this is starting to worry me. a clutch isnt cheap.

thanks

you can drive it as long as you don't dog it. when you do, go light flywheel!

Okay ive got a friend who just put anew clutch in his S2k. the old one is still in great shape, only about 10k on it. are s2k clutches universal for all years? could i theoretically put a clutch out of an ap2 in an ap1?

Yes they r universal. Flywheels are different but still universal (ap1 flywheel weighs less). If u don't upgrade FW get your stock FW resurfaced and use it. Replace throw out bearing as well. Going rate is expensive it's time consuming... Trust me lol
