Coilover Update
$600 is pretty tight, my friend. You'll definitely be looking at something used. Maybe the Buddy Club N+'s or any equivalent (there are several brands made in the same factory over there). You might be able to find some of the BC Racing BR Types. I don't think any of the Fortune Auto ones go for that cheap just because they've gotten popular in the past few years.
Honestly, I had a new set of the Buddy Club N+'s on my S right when I got it. They were a marked improvement over OEM for autox use (obviously not anywhere near as good as the multi-thousand dollar options). And you could turn em down for the street to where they were certainly bearable. I could get them more comfortable for street use than I could with my HKS Hipermax III's which were freakin' awesome for autox, but I couldn't bear them on the street.
If you can bump your budget a few hundred you could find a set of used Bilstein PSS9's. That's what I'm on now (I've had quite a few setups). They are very nice on the street and go stiff enough to be helpful during performance driving. Again, they're no DFV's, but for the money I think they are a great option.

Any coilover in that price range will likely be a performance detriment compared to the stock setup. Unless your only goal is to get rid of fender gap
You could get a set of Koni yellow's and a set of springs for around $750, which would be an improvement over stock in regards to performance.

stock suspension is WAY better than any coilover under the $1000 mark...and even then you'll be trading ride quality for handling. Just get some CR shocks (or Konis...like you have on the 05) and Swift Spec R coils and call it a day my friend
