I am finally coming back as a S2000 owner - previously owned a MY02 S2000 in Sebring Silver with red interior (S2K name Scambo). Loved every minute of owning/driving it an rued the every day since selling it (ironic part is I sold it to a fellow S2K member who asked me a dozen times if I was sure I wanted to sell it - he sold his and was missed it as well - reason he was buying mine).

Anyway after much whining to my better half I am looking to pick up a 2006 sometime in the next couple of months (this time Suzuka Blue). Question I have does anyone have a good dealer recommendation within 5-6 hours of Eastern North Carolina? Most of the dealers out this way either, one do not have S2000 in stock or two, want you to take what they have.

 

You should go with the new blue S2000 that's out.

Thanks, I have looked at the new blue (Laguna Blue) and I like it. However, I am not a big fan of black interiors - that kind of limits my color choices in the S2000. Really wish they made the car in a dark green exterior with a tan interior and top. Part of my deal with my wife in getting a new S2000 was she got to pick the color so Suzuka Blue it is. Not a big deal to me as long as I get to drive it (although I would have to draw the line at it being pink as in Two Fast Two Furious - if I have the movie right. My two wise ass sons were going to get me the model of that one for Christmas as a gag). Again looking forward to driving the S2.

 

Green with Tan, very British!! Mazda's wantabe S2k had that color combination and it looked nice!

My local dealer said that the MY06 should be arriving in a couple of weeks. I will keep an eye out and let you know what I see.

If you are looking in eastern NC, check out where I bought my 05. It is in Wilson. Hubert Vester Honda. They will negotiate. Cant comment on service because I have not had any service done yet. I do my own oil and filter changes. Good luck.

 

I still miss the 2 I've owned everyday. But, I gave up a life of debt. I love no car payments. Some day I'll be back though!!
