Default difference in AP1vs AP2 Ftnal drive

I am shopping around for an OEM AP2 final drive.

Presantly running 456 and I want to go back to stock. I know there is a difference in the AP1 and AP2 but can anyone here tell me how to tell by examining the exterior of the case?

Thanks.

PS t =i in the heading.

The final drive in both is 4.1. The housing and input flanges are different, though.

Thanks. I need to know by examining the case to tell if I am buying the AP2 pumpkin.

The bolt pattern on the input flange is different. The bolt holes are larger on the AP2 as well. I can swap the flanges for you if you need to in about 20min at a meet.
