Thumbs down Dinner & Indoor Karting!

Some of us decided next Saturday will be perfect for a dinner get together and then some karting at Grand Prix Greensboro. We found some buy one get one free race coupons and plan on collecting some more during the week, so the races will be super affordable! We're talking ~$9 a race here for 10 minutes of karting!

The Karting place - http://www.grandprixgreensboro.com/ This place is very nice, its an indoor track with gas powered Honda motors.

We'll meet at 6:30 pm at Crown Honda in Greensboro, they love to see our S2000s parked out front! The plan is dinner at Ham's, La Fiesta, Logan's, or...

Food is still an issue - Mexican is easiest for large parties and getting seated, bt we're still taking suggestions.

Who's in:

Saki GT (the reigning champ, btw)
brunodkid99 (fresh from the New Year and ready to race)
s2kmaniac81 (in all his Crown Vic glory - seriously, you better drive the GTO!)
whitemistress2k (if he can drag his butt 35 minutes up the road)
CobraTi (provided he doesn't starve to death before Saturday)
GrandMasterKhan (kicking in from C-town)
stevec (late to the party, but we forgive him)

Possibly?
tidalwave (and his new puppy)

----

For the curious, Crown Honda in Greensboro is one and a half hours from Charlotte, it really depends how long it takes you to get out of Charlotte (and how closely you adhere to speed limits).

Here's a map for reference, assuming you left from the corner of Trade and Tryon - http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&sadd...3,2.488403&om=1

Crown Honda in Greensboro is also one and a half hours from Raleigh - http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&sadd...5,2.488403&om=1

Not a huge fan of Mexican, but don't let my boring taste in food decide where to eat. I'm sure I can find a Wendy's or something nearby if others decide on Mexican food.

Last nights get together was fun and despite short notice, I thought well attended. Hopefully with a weeks notice, it'll be REALLY fun, especially if we all go karting after.

Not sure of the cost and if they need more time or not, but I do know GPG offers catering for groups. But really, all we all need is 2 cans of Red Bull and we'll be set
