Default Does anyone live in the NC Mountains?

Hi, Guys!

Can anyone give me an idea if there is still decent color remaining in the NC Mountains?

I'm thinking around the Blowing Rock to Mt Mitchell area, along the Parkway. I'm trying to decide on making a road trip (for photo ops), on Sunday.

Thanks for any help!

if you go to killboy.com and check out the highlights the colors are in about midstride out that way...mt mitchell is a bit higher in elevation so its probably pretty good there as well

The correct answer was...from Boone to Linville Falls, along the Parkway, there was NO color, at all.

I hear that I missed it by one week !
