I try to get out to the Dragon as often as possible. I really wish I could have gone to the WTD event this weekend, but it looks like i have more important things to do (like my S/C install hehe.

I'll pretty much go to the Dragon at the drop of a hat provided there is enough advance notice for me to get off work. Its a freaking blast to drive. I am sure you'll enjoy it alot!

The Dragon is great, but we have lots of great roads in upper NC that you can drive on. The Dragon is 5 hours from Raleigh, but in two you can hit the foothills north of Winston-Salem, and in three you can hit the mountain roads north of Boone. Pretty much all along the NC/TN and western NC/VA border we have great curvy 2nd gear roads, and in the eastern and southern part of the state, lost of fast sweeper-style roads. Considering NC has the (I think) most paved roads of any state, NC is a blast for driving.

I live in an out of Sylva NC and most last summer had the pleasure to drive very often on the Dragon and various roads nearby that I don't know where I was but local club members, they've already been there and got the tee shirt.. I'm still leaving bread crumbs to snack on while i get lost and discover awesome back roads everwhere... enjoy moving to NC... be careful...

mmmmm, dragon......its been too long.

Like others have said the dragon is awesome but there are other great roads. I know one that comes to mind. Mulder knows which one I'm thinking of...

The dragon is the reigning king. It is SO much fun. I remember the first time I went. I just couldn't believe that a road can be that much fun...

i have a few dragon videos that i made under my username on youtube..
