So I'm pretty new here on S2Ki and North Carolina in general. I got my s2k last year but wasn't able to go to the dragon event. I am planning on going this year but I'm clueless on how to even kick it off. I plan on driving from the Raleigh area to Asheville. My family is coming too so might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone (Asheville visit, rip the Dragon with S2k peeps). Is there any tips on where to meet, how to join the pack? What to do on the road while driving up? I'm originally from the West Coast and used to rip the Snake every weekend on my 02 F4i and 06 1krr so I know the etiquette of being on windy roads but happy to hear any other tips the vets may have for me! (Including suggestion on hotels in Asheville).

You didn't mention what day you're arriving - It's an hour and 45 mins from Asheville to Fontana Village so you'll have a bit of a drive just to get there to meet up Saturday morning for the rollout but doable. Do you plan on coming out Friday too? 28 is a fun road coming in as well so you should enjoy that. There is also a Facebook group called Performance Car Syndicate that you might want to join and check out some past events there too.
