Drive 125 MPH this weekend!
The Web Site has better info but here is the short version:
You will all be able to run up to 125mph at an airport just south of Fayetteville. For a stock car that's almost all it can do in the mile. I think it would be a great time for all but it isn't cheap. I understand you can expect 17+ runs for $100 or you can just go as a spectator $15.
The S2000 actually falls in to the MS or Modified Sport category because it doesn't have a back seat and it's a convertible. Not sure exactly why but regardless. Most S2000's fall into the class of G/GMS which is engine size G (2.0 litres or less) / Gas vehicle (second G) then the MS.
There are some safety requirements with regard to helmet and such.
I got this info from an S2000 owner and hopefully he will be able to offer his expertise if requested on this thread.
Maybe I'll see you there!!www.ecta-lsr.com

I'll be in Wilmington this weekend looking at all the pretty 350Z's!
Sounds like fun. I don't see where we are able to run our S2000's. Ever since running the AutoX at Rick's Fall Colors Tour in New York, I want more and more!!!
Have fun, at $100 with 17+ runs, you're at a little less than $6 per run!
Cheaper than Crack with less issues.

It is not specifically spelled out but I know of a guy with a turbo'd s2k who has done this before, at this location.
He is the guy who said he had 17 runs and spent a lot of time lounging in the sun so he could have had more if he had wanted to.
