Driver's Shoes
Thanks for all the input. I usually drive in Asics running shoes and after being on the dragon or driving regular all day they really start to hurt. In addition they are definitely wider and makes it difficult to practice heal toe.
I have tried the barefoot approach, but makes it difficult to put shoes on quickly after exiting the car.
I have done some looking in Griot's Garage from the link I posted above and I like the design of the Piloti's. I will check out the other links too.
Keep the info coming.

Not narrow like the Pumas. That's one of the other things I like about them. The Reeboks (and the Pumas are similar design) make me feel like I'm walking on ice skates on the way to the ice...the soles are so narrow. These feel pretty normal and stable. They are not walking shoes by any means...there is an extra support at the ball of the foot just below your toes that feels odd when walking, but is at just the right spot when hitting the accelerator or brake.
Speed Cats FTW!

Curious as to those that know, what you think. Also any recommendations for others that might be good, price, and location to buy.

See their website for a complete selection. They have a lot to choose from. As someone said, these are designed by someone who drives.
Most of the pumas can be found at your local Journeys, if you have one. They are fantastic for driving, kind of like wearing socks with a solid sole. I second the speed cat suggestion, seems like they are getting really popular though, if that matters.
