I finally removed my Injen CAI and I have replaced it with the stock air box. I simply wanted to go back to the stock air box because I was running too lean with a CAI and my Comptech exhaust. Since I can;t begin to think of parting with my Comptech, the Injen hits the selling block.

The CAI is used and it's obvious. The filter will need cleaning. However, all of the necessary hardware, including clamps, hoses and more will be included + INSTRUCTIONS!

Below is a picture of w1ngman's S2000. His CAI was what made me crave one of my own. I searched and it seems that I never once took a picture of my own engine after the Injen install.

Also, try this link:

WOW! $242 brand new!

So, the selling price. The first Carolina owner to shell up $95 will have themselves a fine Injen CAI. No shipping, please. Let's try and meet up with an upcoming drive or something.

If interested, post here or PM me.

WOW! This is a GREAT price. If I didn't already have an Injen CAI I'd jump all over this!

Raul, you shouldn't have been running too lean with the Injen + Comptech, b/c I have an Injen with my J's exhaust and test pipe, and I was running really rich before I had my VAFC dyno tuned up at Eurospeed. I have forgotten what the stock A/F ratio was, but Alex said it was even higher than a turbocharged car should be. So it had to be leaned up quite a bit. I believe I have read on here (s2ki) before that the S2000 stock a/f ratio is kinda rich.

Well, my S2000 is in the dealership, AGAIN! Seems she likes that place all of a sudden. At any rate, they seem to think the problem is fuel injector related. Will know more tomorrow.

Um, this could mean coming up with some jack to pay for new injectors.

Let's see. How to raise cash quick? Hmmmmmmm.

I'll give ya $50 for that trunk lid saddle bag.

I was thinking the same thing about the fi not the cai! Also the dealership will bs you when it comes to factory warranty(if you still have one) because the mechanics do not like to work on warranty time and the dealership loses $$$! The reason is because the mechanics get paid only half of what they would on regular time... I hope that did not sound confusing but I hope it helped a little. good luck ~nate

Hey Airgate,
give us an update man. I had the same problem with my car and they found a hairline crack in a couple of the Spark plugs. Go ahead and replace those first.

OMG! I'm at work and I'm posting!?!?!

I don't know how or why, but don't care!

WOO HOO!!!

It was the fuel injector. They replaced one and the S2000 is *still* in the dealer. They are replacing the "O" rings on the fuel injectors as they were damaged when they were removed from the fuel rail.

The fuel injector for cylinder #1 was leaking, hence the rough idle. It was dripping at a stop and causing the putt-putt noise.

My extended warranty covered the repair, nearly $300 and I only paid $50 as a deductible.

Also, I received word that a brand new '04 would be in soon.
