Default Favorite Mods

I have met a lot of fellow S2000 owners I was curious what your favorite and least favorite mods were to your S2000.

Peronsaly I like the AEM CAI combined with the Spugen Exhaust because of the sound as far as performance mods go (that I have at least).

Since I have an '01, I think Rick's leather console cover makes a huge difference. I just couldn't stand the look of the carpet to the gearshift.

As far as other mods, I think the Street Pilot 2610 is the best in portable GPS technology by far. I looked into the higher end Alpine but other than a larger screen, it didn't offer more features than the SP 2610.

I almost forgot the main mod -- The S2KI license plate frame. I think Raul said that added at least 5 hp and was free!

OEM Hardtop.

Gives the S a completely different feel and look. Also, adding an HT enhanced my audio system 10 fold

Well, I officially have one mod now. (It took all of 10 days to happen).

AEM V2 installed. Love the sound, performance slightly improved (I think?).

So, by default this is my favorite

My favorite mod has to be my J's Exhaust. Well most of the time anyway.

18" wheels! I think the stock wheels are so bland looking!

My favorite so far is the Injen CAI. It makes the engine GROWEL!

I also like my AusS2000 center console cover! Its much nicer than Ricks and even the OEM one. I'd have to say that this one is my favorite cosmetic mod.

My only other mods so far are Rick's "S" badges, Muz's Voodo shift knob (love the feel and thanks to airgate!) Alpine head unit (HUGE difference), Infinity speakers ( Hoo BOY!), rear speakers (what a difference!) and Kumho Ecsta MX tires (so-so).

I agree that the most important one was an head unit...the stock radio just sucks wind! 2nd favorite are my pretty, pretty cleared headlights (THANKS W1ngman!) and the leather console cover.

For those of you who don't own an '00 or '01, you won't believe how much I hated the carpet console!

My Comptech rear tie bar is pretty cool, too.
