Default FS: Spugen dual ovals

I thought I'd try here first. I've got a spugen dual oval exhaust for sale. $500 delivered and installed -- assuming I don't have to drive more than 3 hours one-way. Let me know if you're interested.

Nope. I'm back to stock. I love the exhaust, but I'm tired of swapping between it and the stock system so the dealership service guys can hear a deceleration noise I'm trying to get them to solve. Maybe once they figure out the noise and fix it, I'll get another zaust. For now, though, I'm staying with the stocker.

Yep. Checked all the usual suspects. Latest news from the dealership is "Yeah, that's a normal noise for those cars. We drove a brand new 2003 with 346 miles on it and it had the same noise."

nope. No Amuse Dual Ti's. I'm pretty happy with it stock. If nobody buys it relatively nearby, I will keep it. I just won't be installing it (for the 4th time) for a few weeks until I've had a chance to drive some other s2k's and confirm the dealer's findings.

It may or may not be at issue for your personal experience...but I find that a number of folks on the board that speak of "deceleration noise" (outside of the obvious "decel buzz" TSB for some owners, myself included) could be folks are typically not use to a RWD-small-cockpit-tranny-direct-engagement-right-at-your-neck experience. And that this setup just makes the car (or is it the driver?) more prone to hearing noises that one is just not use to hearing if they grew up with a FWD car (of any particular type).

Fair possibility???

Oh...and sorry to have hi-jacked your "feeler" FS thread. For anyone interested...this Spugen Dual is a GREAT exhaust. I've heard it and it sounds wonderful. Excellent price...and that you'd get it installed for that is even better!

It's not unlikely that the noise I'm hearing is normal. The only thing that worries me is that I didn't notice it until about 2 months ago.
