Can anyone tell me what is the highest octane that can be purchased in the Charlotte area.

You can get 100 at many 76 and Citco stations. If you go near the speedway, there are a few places that have 105 I think, but I would call around on that.

Citgo at Tyvola and I-77 used to have it. I have put it in my truck before, it's a lot of fun with the S/C

The Citgo/Petro Express at Johnston Rd has it also.
Always wondering how it would change anything besides the weight of my wallet.

The Citgo station at the corner of Sharon Amity and Randolph road carries 100 octane "Race Gas". Haven't tried it yet, but I just did a search and read a lot of varying opinions on the effectiveness. I might try one tank before DragonBall this weekend.

Not sure. Used to be able to get it at all 76 stations. It was Racing Gas and it really made a difference.

Last time I got some it was $3.00 a gallon, that was a couple of weeks ago at the Citgo at S.Blvd and 485.
