Hey guys,

Well I think the time has come to announce an idea I've had for a while. Myself and 44Runner have created a Carolina's owners website. Its been something I have thought about for a while seeing how the Atlanta forum has their own website, but I wanted to make sure that I did things a little differently.

First and foremost, we want to stress that we are not creating this to replace the great community of people we have posting here on S2ki. I want this to be more of a centralized gathering place for Carolina owners and anyone else who wants to visit.

Also, I thought for a while about either A.) making a site just for Carolina owners, or B.) just making a dedicated S2000 site. I decided to target it for Carolina owners, but anyone is welcome. It the upcoming months, the site will evolve over time and will soon be not just a forum, but a site full of information and multimedia. I want it to be a great source for anyone to come and find information or read about S2000's.

Although right now, the site contains just the forum, I felt like it was a good time for you guys to come and check it out and post feedback. Any suggestions are welcome!

It will be interesting to see how this works out. I don't want to dilute the Carolina's Forum but appreciate the gift!

 

Yeah, I dont want that either, again, this is just a centralized Carolina's forum, my analogy is like this...

You can get your coffee at Starbucks, but sometimes its nice to hang out at the local Java Shop!

I signed up as number 6 (technically #5 if you don't count yourself or #4 if 44Runner does'nt count) but anyways, if you are in the giving mood, I'd like a golf CAP not the CLAP...ok?

 

glad you signed up. we would really like to have a very active scca community on the board. expect links to all the local scca chapters and schedules.

 

Looks really nice, guys...great work! I agree that I don't want to detract from our regular Carolina forum, but it will be cool to have an alternate place to hang out.

What I'd love to see, would be for this site to include sort of an "archive" of events, photos, upcoming events, etc. That way, we could always go back and revist a DragonBall or something when we get "lonely".

Well, thats is certainly something I was thinking also!

Like 44Runner said, we are taking notes and its going to be a work in progress for the next few months, but it will certianly be a great resource and place to hang out!
