Going rate/value of a 2002 S2000
My wife and I are about to have our first child so the S2K has to go....
I have looked at nada, kbb, and on here to see what the going rate is for a 2002...
Mine has 39,9xx miles on it and is garage kept, clean title, no accidents...
Nada lists it for @ $16,500
I am thinking somewhere around $15,500
I have upgraded to 04-05 wheels and it has the factory optional 6 disc cd changer in the trunk....
Am I way off base in my asking price?

Thanks for any input...

I bought my '02 about a year ago, also pristine, 46k miles, sans wheels,
Factory rear spoiler and CD, some nice appearance mods under the hood, for right at 17k. Then, of course I added wheels and tires - stock AP2 V2s and RE01Rs ~ 2500 more. So, $19.5 as it sits; brand new wheels and tires.
The cars have depreciated another year, and the economy is in the crapper which will somewhat lessen your potential audience. I believe I would start at $16k and be prepared to come down to $15k for a serious offer. Just my opinion, though....

^ Yeah I agree. Depends somewhat on how quickly you need to sell it.
I assumed you want to move it out fairly quickly, and I think the strategy I suggesed would do that. However, if you can afford to be patient, then I don't see why you couldn't squeeze out more from a pristine car. In that case, I'd list it for $18k.
