Default Good times...

Damn I miss this car. I miss the good times and memories it has brought me. The S2000 site/community here was the first car club I've ever been apart of and got involved with so deeply. I'm so very grateful to get to know all you folks on here in the past two years and call you friends. Not just friends, heck almost family I guess in a way. I look forward every night to checking on here and see what's going on and chatting with everyone .

I don't know what really happened, nor why I lost control and wrecked her ? I think about that afternoon daily and try to piece it back together. I lost a piece of me as well b/c I've never felt the same to this day. It changed me and makes me angry that I lost it like that and knowing that I'll never be able to replace that car again ! I'm never quite as excited about driving anymore as I once was too. Understand that I realize how fortunate I am to have owned and really driven an S2000 like mine, but if only I could go back in time and re-drive that road...

I hope the RSX-S will semi fill the S's shoes to an extent. I had a blast @ Pinehurst in her on the drive I must say and I'm enjoying this car a lot more than the Viper truck. I hope no one got offended when I passed a couple of cars on the drive, but I take my aggressions in this world out on my car, please forgive me. The sound of VTEC and rowing thru the gears momentarily relieves my stresses and pains and I don't wanna let up... Heck, maybe that's what happened in the S, too much fuggin' aggression on my part?!?! I don't know, she's gone though so I guess I need to move on and remember all the good times and look forward to new ones...

Hey man, you just have to pick yourself yup when you get thrown from the horse. Its the same deal with getting a speeding ticket. You drive all timid for about a week, than get over it and start enjoying driving again.

There's no telling exactly why you spun, its just bad luck - those AP1s are squirrely though. Now that you have a car again you can come to the autocrosses and really put the car to its limits without really having to worry about hurting yourself or the car.

Like Matt said, there's no accounting for bad luck. Any other day or time, the outcome could have been different. Just gotta be glad that the car you enjoyed so much kept you safe when it needed to.

B,

It's been good getting to know you, and as far as I'm concerned you're always a part of the 'family'. !

It was awesome to see you at Pinehurst man. You are _always_ welcome! It feels like yesterday that we were laughin' our asses off at Myrtle Beach...and then Florence. Wow. Who woulda ever thought Florence could be fun?? Thanks for the great memories man...and the more you'll surely give us.

I still remember hearing about your accident. We were all sooooo grateful that _YOU_ were okay. Losing a car...like the S...has to be hard man. But I'm glad you came out of it ok. After seeing the pics, you are fortunate.

I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. Seriously, it's like trying to stop gravity...you can't. You can plan for the best and be prepared for the worst...but you just don't know what's gonna happen. You know? Well... ...of course you do.

Keep coming out to our gatherings dude, we love havin' you there.
