So.. i got my car back for a while now and well.. i wanted to work on it . i had an extra valve cover laying around and i finally came around and did some work to it. I read up on the diy valve cover restore, then i said to myself, hey might as well do it since i had time (im a lazy person).

Allright, I have been wanting a black valve cover w/ silver center just like yours for forever. How much would you charge me to powder coat mine black and make the center section silver to look just like yours. I could either meet you somewhere with my valve cover or ship it. Feel like making a little cash???

not powercoated.. its wrinkle paint, but there are steps in doing it correctly and the spark plug was a pain in the but to polish it out.

 

You wouldn't want to go ahead and do the full job, just like you did with yours, one the extra red valve cover you have, than I can give you my valve cover upon shipment. I assume the AP1 and AP2 valve covers are identical except the spark plug color. If not I could ship it too you. If this is all too much trouble, would you be willing to give me your secrets on how you did the whole job.
