We need private track time. 11 people out there is a lot and its not always easy to pass especially when you dont have the weight advantage (luckily the first time I caught up with the slow girl, at the hairpin she hit the inside so hard it almost spun her out. . .and they held up the "No Bumping" sign at me, phhh).
Good to see everyone out there and glad you enjoyed it Raul. Brandon, sorry you couldnt stick around for the karts, but you had a good reason not to. Matt, keep that sheet. You've got 4 laps on there of under 33 seconds. Good for super kart status. And Steve, just gotta be brave and put that foot down. Try what I do and lean back and to the outside in turns to get as much weight over the outside rear wheel as possible. . .it helps keep the kart planted and you can hold speed through some of the turns better too (the hairpin at the pits is always bad though. . .thats where if we all lost 50lbs it would be a big help).
We've got to find those buy 1-get 1 coupons though. $18 for one race is rough on the wallet.
Gentlemen, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it was great to see you guys again!!!
And the food and conversations were superb to boot... Always seems to go back to the MBSM '06 for some reason when we get together
Ugh, sounds like the track was packed tonight anyways
Oh well, like I said I still have my headsock, so I'll be ready for the next time...
Yeah, I'd have to agree that $18 per race seems mighty steep Definitely need to find those coupons somewhere to make it more economical I'd say...
