Hi, Diego!

It was too bad it wasn't feasible for you to take your S with you, but it does seem like you've been having fun with your Smart.

I hope things are going well with you, both professionally and personally.

How is the weather down there? We are all wishing for warmer temps to come and stay!!

I'm trying to get the group together for a M, E & D towards the end of March, at the NC Zoo. They've opened a new Australian Outback section, and that may be the closest I get to the Aussie experience.

Take care, and happy driving!!!

The weather is fine. It was a little too dry last year so we spent the summer on water restictions a la Cary style. Last week the local govt gave everybody a pat on the back for saving so much water but we are still below 40% level at the dams. So the little Smart isn't washed that often :-(. Been thinking about trying a waterless system (So a demo and was impressed) but still sitting on the fence.

Workwise things are going well. Not being the boss is harder than I thought but working 40 hour weeks and actually being able to take vacation is sweet!

On the personal side, we decided to start a family. So we are now awaiting for the arrival of baby #1 (girl as far as we have been told). It is quite exciting although it took me a while to get into it (My sister in law says it must be a guy thing).

Sheadlee, I sometimes wish I brought the S even if it I could not drive it on the road. We have three great tracks within a couple of hours from home. The guys from the Honda Club go pretty often which really makes me miss the S. The Smart can hold its own on the twistys but gets left behind in the straights. I am always faster than the slow S2k drivers but a good 5 - 10 seconds slower than the fast ones.
