Default Hello!

I finally picked up an s2000 recently. I just thought I would introduce myself.

Can anyone recommend a good place in the greater Charlotte area to buy wheels?

Also, many of the wheels I have been looking at require fender rolling, does anyone in the area have one they would lend or rent?

I have been looking at the Enkei RPF1's and really like them.

Thanks,
Dave

Welcome Dave. I don't have any info on Charlotte as I am some distance away but welcome aboard. I am sure you will like it here.

Someone in the Charlotte area will be on soon. There are a lot of owners on your area.

Welcome to the club! Yeah you have a lot of great ppl in your area! Yves or YELLOWJACKET on here can roll your fenders, but he's in Greenville, SC.

TireRack.com has a great selection of wheels. They are all the proper offset which shouldn't require fender rolling.

We recently rented a fender roller during a Charlotte Tech Day. It was simple enough to use and I believe we rolled fenders on about 3~4 S2000s. I also think the Greenville, SC or Raleigh, NC folks did the same. Not 100% sure.

Welcome! Charlotte has a great group of people...spread the news as you meet fellow S2K owners/enthusiasts. We can always use more peeps in the area that have love for their S2000.

Keep an eye out for area gatherings. We typically get together at least once a month in Charlotte. We've done Tech Days, Picture Outings, just dinner, etc...etc... Trust me, we don't need _much_ to get us motivated into gathering.

Great choice, you'll your S2000!

Hello Dave. Congrats on the purchase. RPF1's are some nice wheels at a nice price. Make sure you post up some pics when you get a chance. It's gonna be a beautiful weekend so you don't have any excuses.

Also, I agree on Yves (Yellow Jacket) on the fender rolling. I did mine at a tech day at Airgate's house but it wasn't enough. Then at another GTG, Yves finished the job since I had never done it before and didn't want to crack my paint.
