Sorry to see you selling the S. Sounds like a good car, why part with it?

Check retail prices at Carmax, then go to a Carmax store and have them "appraise" (I use the word loosely) your car. They are very close to what a dealer would pay you if you had to sell right now.

You might try shooting for a price mid-way between retail and appraisal.

I love my car, eveyone that knows me knows I love it. I'm just getting old have have health problems that will make it harder and harder for me to get a sports car as I keep getting older. I'd like to get more varied car experiences under my belt. Nothing wrong with the car, but just want to try other cars before I can't get in and out of them.

hey dave, if you feel wierd having someone touch the nive car, Maybe we can agree on a mechanic working on it. I have a great manager at the midas in pineville who ha worked on my cars fo 4 years now. I would recommend him do the work if you feel funny about yourcar, I feel ya!

also, would you consider someone swapping out headlight asemblies for the clear corners?

If you are willing to sell parts, I can assist with the removal/swaps as well. Will gladly buy your X-brace, and probably your exhaust. Those are simple jobs for a young grease monkey.

As to selling the car whole, I agree with trying to sell it to a dealer. However, your best bet there is to have the car as close to stock as possible for the best price. You can leave the spoiler and strakes, but the rest needs to be returned to stock. Every mod to the car will decrease the price the dealer will give you.

Another thought is putting it for sale here on the forums.

I would be willing to help remove any mods also. Just let me know. You can use my house for the work.

Mini-tech day, also can re-install parts on other cars.

Thanks, I'll probably just try to sell it as is first. If no takers, I'll put it back to stock and try again.

Best of luck. Sad to lose a member. Try to sell it to someone who will care for her properly.

I would absolutely put the stock exhaust back on the car. It will be easier to sell without the drone.

Rod makes a very good point there.

If you need a hand with wrenching Dave, I've got air tools and everything at my place...
