Smile HELP - Side Turn Marker Theft

I parked my car in the Westin Deck in Charlotte. When I got back from work my side markers were gone. The &^*@$@# cut the wires so I need both the harness and the socket. Parts will run me $303.12 for EACH side. Yes, that comes out to $606.24 total for JUST the parts. This is insanity. Any idea where I can get these parts for less?

Westin will not cover the cost... of course. Standard disclaimer and what not.

Also does any one know how much of a pain is it going to be to re-wire these damn things? I think I'm going to have to pull of the front quarter pannels, right?

Thanks Much,
Really Pissed Off

Wow.... I have never heard of that but geeeeez that joker did more work than was necessary... what an idiot.

Give Jeff (HardTopGuy) a call, he should be able to help you out with a decent price.

As for pulling the fenders, I am not 100% certain but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of being able to thread it through. I could be wrong.

$606.24 dealer vs $50 hard top guy.

WOOHOO!!!! I will have to splice wires with the parts from hard top guy, but I'll take $50 over $600 any day!!!

Hopefully I'll have the parts here for the long weekend. I'll be pulling the car apart then... DrDre1443 any advice is welcome!

Thanks All!!!

I think Hardtop guy can help you with this. I can't believe it cost that much to start with that's insane. As far as the wires that are down in the fender, I think you maybe able to fish them out with a a piece of wire, or maybe peel back the fender lineing and see if you can get to it.

Do you have comprehensive insurance coverage? If so, that should be covered.

better be careful about that, my driver side signal was hanging from the cable, when a left the movie theather..look like he/she pull it because the piece of plastic that hold it in place was broken, jus some double side tape took care of it..
