Default Help speaker problem

I have kicker c5 speakers in my door and the left one completely goes out then the sound comes back through the speaker a couple minutes later. It doesn't happen all the time but enough to be annoying .I just got them recently wtf??? Their good speakers but what's the deal guys???

Check the contact points, it could be that you have too much slack speaker wire and the window is catching or pulling them loose from the terminals.

^ Def that and also check to make sure the contacts aren't too close to the opening and could be possibly touching causing the speaker to ground out.

I am over in Chapel Hill but often go to Cary/Apex area. Might even be at the Cars and Coffee event this Saturday(without my S) and could easily take a look for ya.

I have pulled off my(and other) S2000 door so many times! It's easy as pie. Should be an easy fix or we will know what NEEDS to get fixed. As said above it's a wiring or grounding out issue.

If you put in door spacers and it's made of wood that area of the door does get moisture and WILL rot out. I will be working on mine this winter and hopefully my new speakers will fit in the door without spacers.
