I sure hope it happens before I get too old to enjoy it.
They have been hyping it for a long time.

Don't get too excited. I have heard that the financing for entire project is still up in the air. Also I don't believe there is a firm date for completion. So here's hoping it becomes a reality.
No mention has been made of the actual cost for a club membership but rumor has it it exceeds the VIR club membership.

i heard that near-by residents are fighting against High Rock Raceway ever being built for some reason... noise or something maybe?

either way, it would be nice to see another road course on the east coast!

radred - financing is everything...they seem to be advertising that they'll open in 2009...I would be really shocked...but I haven't see how much has been completed either.

 

i wonder if we could do timeshares on the condo.
that would be awesome.
