You'll soon learn that there are some really weird people on the board (especially in the Charleston area) but pay them NO mind. They're harmless until they get into the Hoppin' John.

airgate (community organizer) will find you sooner or later and get you hooked up with a Carolinas' badge in your sig.

 

Or, since Airgate is getting ready for McDragon right now, you could check out the sticky at the top of the Carolina's forum called "ATTN: New Carolinas Owners!," or something like that.

If you're in the mountains, some of us are headed that way this weekend. smccoy and I have an occasional non-event at Deal's gap called McDragon. We're staying at the Iron Horse Inn. Some are going up today (they've already left) and some of us are going up tomorrow to stay through Monday.

hey thanks for the info and as far as this weekend i cnat make it already looked into it but the iron horse is about 4 hours south of where i am at in the mtns.

I'm located in W/S. You have some great roads up in Ashe and Alleghany counties. Like everyone has said, just keep an eye on the S2KI Carolina's Club and the s2kcarolinas.com board also. There is the Pinehurst event in early January. Hope to see you around.
