How Much Longer....................
You guys are bunch of wooses (spelling?!?) i drove from Greensboro back to Cary with the top down, heat all the way up, gloves and toboggan on, i probably spelled that wrong too, I was perfectly warm. Gamecock, i know the feeling man, im having an ACL reconstruction in February....vicadin helps me drive the S
Things are looking up... I've been getting a little more mobile with the knee and last night I took my buddy's 300ZX for a ride and handled the clutch well. Now, if only my sister didn't have my car in Charlotte...
Oh well, I'll get it back next week and drive it until surgery. I hope the weather is good the day I get it... I'll bring along the tobogan and gloves, just in case!
Mr. Wizard, what are your symptoms with the ACL? I'm still trying to diagnose my troubles... I had an MRI earlier this week, but I don't actually see the surgeon until Dec. 30th. So far, my family doctor is thinking it's a torn meniscus...

Nah, the meniscus is in the knee... it's kinda like a shock absorber, from what I understand. Here's a little info if you're truly interested!
"The meniscus is a wedge or series of wedges of cartilage between the bone and the joint. The knee has two of these wedges, the medial and lateral meniscus. The three most important jobs for medial and lateral meniscus cartilage are stabilizing the knee, absorbing energy and transmitting load away from more sensitive knee structures. Together these functions help protect the knee from degenerative wear and tear."

Pretty much just horrific pain, swelling, heat, redness. I have it drained once a week. I'm having an ACL reconstruction, anterior medialization, medial and lateral menisectomy, and a patellar arthrotomy. Had a bunch of bad crap happen during the soccer season

Not a chance, Brian!
