hell of a game last night! i'm not even a huge hockey fan but i love watching the 'Canes in the playoffs

I was sweating it when the Canes blew their lead with that bad defense, and then overtime looked like it would go another period, but Thomas couldn't hold onto the puck and we finally got a shot.

Go Canes!

 

damn that shot near the beginning of the 3rd that rolled along the goal line on edge...that should've been 3-1 and we wouldn't have even had to worry about overtime

 

I'm not a hockey "follower" but I had no idea southerners watched hockey. My co-workers don't know squat about hockey. My father was a huge Flyers fan but was happy when the Hurricanes won it in '06. So are they gonna make it to the finals this year?
