Holy crap... making me regret not driving by s today after reading that. I felt the same way when I first drove the car with the act pp and oem disc with ap1 flywheel. Are you down for September DFR? Also, didn't know you have a hardtop. Is it the oem kind?

Yes sir, I'm going to try my best to be at DFR in September. Really bummed out that I had to miss RtD this month

I do have an OEM hardtop, but it's only on during the winter when it's too cold to go topless. That's why you haven't seen it at the Dragon, haha.

So, the car is running great. However, it's throwing two codes:

1. P0133 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
2. P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

These are slow codes that clear, but come back on after a few miles of driving.

As the engine was being reassembled, there was a bit of water pooled in the cat. Is it possible that the water trashed the cat? Or my oxygen sensors? Or all of the above? Presumably, it's been sitting there for the past two months.

If anyone has an extra stock cat or oxygen sensors laying around in the Raleigh area, let me know if I can borrow them for some troubleshooting. Thanks!

Water in the exhaust can cause bad O2 sensors. Its the main reason that when you put in a wideband bung on a header/testpipe that you make sure the bung is above centerline of the exhaust tube so the sensor points downward in the exhaust flow. That way condensation moisture won't stick around on the sensor and potentially ruin it. I'd do a little bit of research on those specific codes, and if they point to a bad sensor just go ahead and replace. I'd start with the secondary sensor that's after the cat. The primary may still be good.

either that or the cat is dislodged, damaging the o2 sensor. That's what happened to me twice anyway :/
