the rebuild begins

Just noticed my mounts got torn up a few weeks ago

 

Yeah I just bought an 04 shell last week. The rear panel and softop is still clean. I'll try to upload some pictures later of the rebuild.

I noticed you switched back to an AP1 bumper

 

Other bumper cover got screwed

Rear kicked out during a turn and over corrected and went 180. Don't know if my passenger front tire catching the fender contributed. Either way, raised the car a bit and adjusted the setup and rides a lot better. Bought a amuse r1 style bumper hopefully get that on soon. Debating DF wide fenders or ASM and pull out the rears fenders more but its money I don't want to spend right now

 

Luckily you didn't end up in my situation though.

I was offered a full Amuse kit for $600, but I just want to stick with the OEM look. Nothing too flashy

I don't even want to spend money at all on parts, but the quicker I fix it up and get it running again, the quicker I can look for a new car also. It's getting there though. Working on it little by little on the weekend...
