I just got an improper start ticket bc I barely spun tires and I was wondering if I was going to get point taken off my licenses? It's a $133.75 ticket. I can pay that but I'm just wondering if it will hurt my insurance? Thanks if anyone can help. What a way to start out my first week of owning an s2k.

 

If you pay the ticket, that's a guilty plea.

Dang. Wasn't wanting to go that far. I have a few friends In the court system that may be able to do something. But the cop was a USC upstate campus police and he pulled me over off campus.

 

LoL I got pulled over at USC upstate when I lived down south. Went to party with a couple of girls. Holler at " Andy Thompson " He's in Downtown spartanburg right across from the traffic court house. Or you can get this other lawyer I had I'll grab the name from my dad. He's got a couple of streets named after him in Spartanburg. Dude is COCKY as crap.

I appreciate it man. I'm going to go see if a can appeal it tomorrow though. My girlfriend was behind me and the cop was behind her and it was at night. I have no idea how he saw me. It barely even spun tires. Road was wet and my tires are bald as hell. The Cop was young and I don't even know if he knew what he was doing; barely Said anything.

 

Jealousy.. And don't say your tires are bald, cause they'll give you a ticket for that. Then again if you go buy some tires and show proof that you did get them replaced, I don't see a problem then.

that's what I was thinking. I will definitely be taking a trip to discount tire before my court date. I can't let this ticket stand. These campus cops are crazy. They take their job way to seriously.
