If we can gather two or more folks together in the Carolina's area and then settle upon a meeting location that has:

• Covered Shelter
  
• Oven

Then Dave is willing to drive from Richmond and do the conversions at the great price of $120 each. This is a huge savings opportunity for anyone interested on completing this mod.

As of now, the conversion method via Rick's website would have YOU disassembling your front bumper, removing your headlamps and shipping them to his conversion specialist. There's about a 48 hour turn around time on this, and then the headlamps are shipped back to you. It could easily take a week for complete installation. Some folks have this luxury but many folks could certainly utilize this opportunity from Dave (w1ngman).

I'm definitely interested! Could do something in December. Raliegh might be a good meeting spot, but I'd be willing to caravan up to Richmond for a weekend if there's enough interest.

Jen and I might be up for it as well. Let me check with her before I say yes. We have a lot of expenditures coming up and might not have the extra cash right now to do it. Sounds like a really good deal though!!!!

In replying to cknebusch's post above, please understand that I'm balancing a tactful line here. Don't wanna slow the momentum of doing something now and at this reduced price. Also don't want to blow off cknebusch's interest in having the mod done once finances/time *can* make it fly...

I really want to keep the momentum going on this thread for a "between now and Jan '03" time-frame. Frankly, I know things can be tight right now for folks...thus the price break/special. So any folks that are interested in having this mod performed *now*, please continue building the momentum with this thread.

cknebusch, I understand (for the very reason I've stated above) how the holidays can be financially...and its one of the reasons I'm reducing my price right now (so others can take advantage of the deal too). I hope you'll keep me in mind when your opportunities allow you to get some smoked lenses. I know the mod will look great!
