Another My Bad.

My hardtop is hanging in the garage over the place that I park my car. When the car is parked there the hardtop is out of the way. No problem.

While working on my car this week I parked her out from under the hardtop so I could get all the way around her. All week long I danced around the hardtop without incident.

This morning I had my baby put back together and was starting the last task of filling her with oil when I turned to get a funnel from the shelf.

*SMACK!*



The lights went out and the swelling started immediately. I had smacked the leading edge of the hardtop just above my left eye.

I could NOT believe it. My radar had worked perfectly all week, but this morning it let me down. And I mean WAY down. To my knees down.

When the lights came back on I went into the house and put a cold pack on my goose egg. The pain felt like permanent brain freeze and I had a queezy feeling, both of which have been with me all day.

I'm told that the pain will last for 3-5 days.

Anybody want to buy a slightly dented hardtop?

 

Ouch! Hope you feel better soon. BTW, is the hardtop okay?

 

I always catch the pointy spike-like locks right on top of the head.

 

Gee Phil, I hope your okay. I can relate- one time while grabbing some items from the trunk my dear spouse decides to close the trunk lid before my head was clear and my noggin caught the corner of it. Hmmm- are you sure the hardtop was in the same spot and not mysteriously moved? Nah- JagLady would never do that!

 

Auch! Hope you recover without complications.

 

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE THINK ABOUT THE HARDTOP!?!

Today was better than yesterday. I was fairly active all day. The headaches came and went though. It feels just like when you unintentionally swallow a piece of ice. Brain Freeze.

I'm sure tomorrow will bring even more improvement.
