What the hell Mother Nature? You went from winter to spring like 1/2 dozen times, then tried to flood us out and now you are hot as blazes, with humidity that makes you drip sweat within less than two minutes!!! It's like a scene from Airplane.
Love the winter, love the hot summer. Does not matter to me.
Here in MN our winter went on forever, with lots of below zero days and snow up through mid April ... then it was 100 degrees on Memorial day weekend, has been 90+ most days since with high humidity. Cooled down a bit the last few days. Was also 100 in Lincoln for spring nats.
My wife can't understand me, but I love the hot and love the cold winters. I think the winters mainly because winter = snowboarding, but I have no issue spending hours outside at -10 or going for a jog when 95 and humid.
I think I just like outdoor activities so much I have forced myself to have a wide temperature tolerance:P My wife on the other hand, is truly comfortable when it is between 78-82 degrees lol
Don't get me wrong I don't mind that I do not have to shovel sunshine but come on. Probably doesn't help that I work in climate controlled environments 90% of the time.
43 minute race on Sunday in 95* ambient and 130* inside the car kinda sucked. 10lb bag of ice in the cool shirt was completely gone by the checker. Ended up drinking 3.5 gallons of water from Friday ~4pm when I got there until ~7pm Sunday (edit) when I got home, which doesn't include hydration via beer!

No worries about water intoxication I guess. Normally drinking 3.5 gallons over 3 hours could kill you.
