Default I've got to vent!!!

Sorry....just need to rant a little
I'm confused...
My apartment complex has turned off the water at the complex's carwash. They've also cut the H20 to the building nozzles so I can't use my own hose.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with doing my part in helping in our current water crisis.
My problem is this....no rain and the S2000 probably wouldn't need a bath for week

Ditto,
First, I hear that I can not use any water then I hear every other day I can use it? My lawn looks like the surface of the moon and the S2000 needs a bath!! Boy I can't wait to rent a slit seeder this fall !!!! (not)

I know that navigating the Wake County website beuracracy will take 30 minutes to find the truth. Now I'm done venting too!! :-)

"Well", for what it is worth, sometimes the water regulatons are written so that you can not use the city / county water but you can use well water on the cars and lawn.

This year, my office park put up signs stating that it was "Well Water" run through the sprinklers so that they would not have a bunch of questions about it.

Maybe you should park it in the grass and wash it when the sprinklers come on.

We are almost to the water cut off point. I am 45 minutes north of Charlotte. I think the county is actually going to cut off all water, because they don't have any to meet the supply. All car washes are still running. I have well water here at work so the S will still get washed even if they do cut it off....

I live in the Ballantyne area and am also aware of how the developers along this road are watering the streets and sidewalks (which we pay for with our tax money) for the 2 people a year who walk on Ballantyne Pkwy, Providence Road, etc.

These owners, including Smoky Bissle ( who owns Charlotte - The Good Old Boy) are subject to $500 fines. All you need to do is call the city and talk to either the streets department or the water department. They will contact these owners.

They are very responsive. Unfortunately, I forgot the direct phone number, so if you get in touch with the right person, please share this number with all of us.

Good luck, John 1018

I spent a week and a half in Raleigh, the week before my wreck, and they had just started the water restrictions (no car baths), and it killed me to see all that clay from the horse complex on my babe. I felt soo helpless. I know how you feel.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!!
If it's after 9:00pm, I try to avoid Ballantyne Commons Pkwy for that very reason!!

I think I've made some people mad when I slow down to 10mph to cruise through the water.

Of course you could always wake up between the mandated watering hours of 3:52 to 4:12 a.m. and wash your S2000!
