Default KALAN You must carry on the torch!

For those of you who were in any way jealous of me taking a 'voluntary' holiday for the past 2 1/2 months, You don't have to be jealous anymore!

Facing certain financial hardship due to increased housing expenses I was 'forced' out of retirement (OK, I am exagerating... but I really needed a job)

So I start work on Monday.

Now Kalan (if you are still not working) must carry on the cross of going on drives midweek, go to other cities 'just for lunch', shopping non stop and shuch other tremendously exhausting pursuits!

OH... I forgot to mention.. I will be working for a company that is based out of Andover, MA and they say I 'may' have to go there to familiarize myself with the operation.... can you say FALL COLORS??

Diego,

Contratulations on the new job !

Having to work, for a living, really sucks, but it seems to be rather necessary if we want to have toys

Maybe, this way, you can get those 'needed' toys, faster.

Good luck, with everything.

Happy driving

Steve

Sorry Diego but my Lady of Leisure days are over. As of today I officially accepted another job.
I think we have to pass the torch to Bridow...

You gotta make sure you represent!

With three more months to go you should be able s2ki flag in a lot of places. :-)

Kalan, I just finished my first week at work and all I have to say is : My conmiserations! ;-) . :-) :-)

Seriously, it is not too bad. Just getting used to the routine is a pain. That, and I never worked 'for someone' before (not counting the to-pay-for-college jobs)... so I keep having to tell myself: "He's the boss, not you... he's the boss, not you..." :-)

Good luck on your new job!
