Has anyone done the kart day at Carolina motorsports park? I won a silent auction at a fundraiser that included 5 passes. It looks like more serious karts than the Frankie's fun park variety. And its a .7 mile 16 turn track.

I was down at CMP on the skid pad a couple months back along with Homesivan, Modifry, and a few others. The cart track looked pretty awesome. We talked about getting back together when the weather warms up and renting carts (about $100 an hour) Nothing ever came of it though.

Get some friends together and do it, They have actual racing carts, not go carts.

 

i would be down for this, i could probly get a couple of my freind to go also, and we should do the skid pad again....

 

Me and 15-20 people from the Clemson area plan on renting out the track on the 9th of April. This will be my first time karting there and I'm super excited

 

I appreciate that Det, but they are already spoken for. It was only $38 for 5 passes and for charity. Not too bad a deal I don't think. And they're good for a year. I need to call them and see what it all entails. Looking at the website, the $20 passes gets you 10 minutes. The passes I've got says they are a $20 value each. Still, sounds like a lot of fun.
