Thats right!

March 12-15, 2009

Grand-Am is trying to promote the Koni Challenge Series by making the second race of the season at Homestead FREE to all spectators. As the press package is finalized and sent to me I will update you.

A website will be made so fans can download and print the tickets. Pretty much you can print as many as you want for friends and family. Its FREE.

Also, they are planning to make car club corals. The spots have not been confirmed; best location would be in the paddock, worst possibility is still inside the infield. The price for this is... FREE! I just need to make a count and its first come first serve. They will tell me eventually the cut off point. It looks like they gave me 50 spots for S2000s.

I'm aiming to make SATURDAY the main day. For those of you who can only make it one day, try to come Saturday. I will make list for people coming Saturday, Sunday or Both days. Sunday will be just as good with the same amount of races.

VENDORS: You can set up a tent and table with parts, a show car or anything else you can imagine. I only need to know the space requirements you will be needing. As further details arise I will pass them on. Oy yea its FREE for you too.

Parade laps are being discussed as a possibility for car clubs.... FREE

The track will have its concession stands open selling food, drinks and beer. However you can bring your own beer in a soft sided cooler.

Basically we need you to help spread the word. The more people the better. Homestead-Miami Speedway is looking for 5000 people. Hopefully this will encourage them to do this event next year with greater benefits to you.

Weekend Schedule:
