Default Lawyer Info

A friend of mine got a speeding ticket outside of Raleigh today by a state trooper. They have a prayer for judgement already hanging over their head and I recommended that they take a good lawyer to court. Can somebody recommend a good traffic lawyer? Or any advice?

Thanks,
Eric

Last time I got a ticket I used Orrin Robbins http://www.tixfixer.com/

Wasn't the cheapest but did a pretty good job. (84 in a 55 )

I used Jason Tuttle from Stratas & Wheathers off of speedingticket.net
he got me a pbj for doing 27 over and also got the ticket reduced to 14 over just in case it does come back. expensive but definitely worth it.

Dave

Also, with a PBJ you do get 1 improper equipment violation before the ticket comes back on you. a good lawyer will do this for you (as was done for me a month later)

The bad news is Raleigh is very strict - it has kangaroo, I mean traffic court down to an art, and they really don't deal with people or lawyers. Whatever your friend does, get a lawyer who may know an assistant DA and who might be willing to change the offense to a non-moving violation and a large "donation". Otherwise, your friend is in for a lot of points!

No, I can assure you it's not me. I have been driving like a saint since my last ticket just prior to Fall Colors. A prayer for judgement thing would do me no good for since I am out of state because the ticket would still be reported to DMV in VA. I got a ticket in Hillsborough (on my way to the first Wake the Dragon) when I was in college down there a few years ago and luckily got it reduced to a non-moving violation.

I appreciate everyone's input. I am just not familiar with the prayer for judgement thing and how my friend can get around this second ticket. I have passed along the lawyer info and she will be getting in contact with them.
