This is the place in Spartanburg where I was considering adding nitrous to my S.

I wussed out, but I thoroughly investigated their suggestions, and would not hesitate to bring the car to them if I wasn't such a wuss...

BTW, I've accepted a job offer in Munich, Germany, so it looks like I'll be 2 hours from Nurburgring beginning in February, waiting for the spring thaw. It's not certain yet due to contract negotiations, but its a 90% probability.

I've seen this Spoon guy's S at the paint shop. It's the only AP1 Spa I've ever liked, hardtop, bronze wheels. Nice.

It had a for sale sign in it a few months ago.

Hey, new here (on forums as a member and in the area). Thanks, Spoon. I was getting desperate trying to find a local tuning shop. I'm in Boiling Springs, got a Spa 01 S, but it still needs to be repainted and have a turbo tuned. I already bought a custom used kit from guy out in Charlotte, and will put it in myself. I will need some suggestions on street-tuning it for a rough map with a wideband and a Greddy E-manage, and then perhaps having TDC fine-tune it for me.

^^^ No, Hue, or something like that.

Oh yeah, and I went and talked to the guys in TDC today. They seem to know what they're talking about. And ;-( they said I have too big of a turbo. ;-( I was suspecting that, it's a Garrett GT35 with a .70 A/R. It'll probably spool to full boost up at like 6k, not good for street. I gotta sell it now? It's used, andy ideas what they're worth on Ebay?

The turbo was off of Ebay. I've bid on like 4 before I got this one. Still overpaid. Waiting on the headgasket to arrive, and the weather to get just a bit warmer, I'm frizzin' tired of freezing my freezer off in the freezing garage! javascript:add_smilie("")
smile.gif But between turbo install, (which i don't know how to street-tune with a wideband and an emanage) and painting the car, it could take about a month, or two. Just in time for good weather, huh?
