Post MBSM Road Trip

This will be my first road trip out. Do you have any suggestions? Top up, Top down ??? I40 experience? Avoid 18 wheelers???

Top...DOWN...by all means!!! I-40 is fine...smooth sailing most of the way. 18 wheelers are no problem...they just increase cabin turbulence, when you are behind them...but they are easy to 'blow by' !

Have safe and FUN drive !

Maybe I'm crazy, but for any trip over two hours, I put up the top. Cabin turbulence just gets old, as does the excessive summer heat and noise.

I like to ride top up on long Interstate travel as well...
To each their own...

Well, MB is just over three hours for me, and don't want to burn before I get there, so I'll likely be top up on the highway. Maybe when I get close to the beach, I'll drop the top and get some fresh air. Saturday will definitely be top down!

I haven't decided yet. We should coordinate - I think my gf is coming with a gf of hers, so that's two cars - I'm leaving Friday afternoon most likely.

Top down, sun screen on, stereo blasting, and wave at all the cute girls (or guys) depending on your preference.

Anyone going to Myrtle from Charlotte? I will probably be leaving Friday afternoon also.

Yep sounds like good plan... Prob meet Mulder either along the route on 501, or at Springmaid Resort... I've volunteered to help him out to get things started up and running on Friday around 1pm...
But def. the more the merrier... Lets line this up...
