When are you ripping her apart? I won't be running until probally August 25th at the earliest. Are you going to beef up your fuel system?

 

We will be in in the same power range. I've wired in a toggle do I can flip between reasonable power and stoooopid power.

 

Im not gonna take it apart till probably august. Ive got to order some stainless for a new downpipe, a 3in cutout, new oil lines, etc. Ive only ordered the mani and turbo so far. Ive also got to get a bigger wastegate, evans says my 39mm wont be enough for that size turbo. As far as fuel, evans seems to think i can hit 550 on the returnless if i spray 100% methanol instead of the 50/50 mix. We'll see. If i run out of injector im gonna just convert it to a return system and run e85. Im seeing like mid 70% duty cycle at 18psi now so there's some room left. I thought about maybe a kennybell boostapump as well. Just gonna wait and see how it goes.

 

Stooopid power is the goal. Though last time I put it on 18lbs I went to jail for the night so this is probably gonna be a bad idea. Hurry up and get yours done, i'll leave it together till you get it running so we can test it out. Then i'll know how much more money your gonna cost me.

What size injectors are you running right now? I'll be running ID 1000cc's and a dual pump set-up with a return. The entire exhaust side of things is 3" and I'm on a 46mm WG running a precision 6265. I ditched my meth and am running straight E-85. It'll be interesting lol. My gears are taller yours are shorter, your a little bit heavier but have more torque. I'm not going to give out my "stooopid" power number that I am shooting for. Gotta keep it interesting

 

I'm on ID1000's with a single aeromotive 340 and 50/50 water meth at 750cc's under full boost. The new setup will be a 6266 with 3in dp going strait into a 3in cutout. Dump tube going strait up through the hood. For E85 i'll need 1500$ worth of fuel upgrades that I don't know if my wife will approve of. I'm just not telling her about the new manifold and turbo. I'll be running a precision 46mm wastegate as well. Should make for some good runs. I'll have the gopro ready. I can't let a RSX disgrace the almighty S.

 

 

I hope you guys plan on doing this at a drag strip. if not, i'll bring you two a tin of cookies to the pokey LOL. stooopid usually leads to jail time. but i'm sure its fun as crap.
