i am moving to charleston next week, previously i have been doing most mechanical work with a friend of mine, teaching me as we went, im sure i wont know anyone right off the bat down there to teach me how to work on my car, hopefully i will but for the time being, can anyone recommend a good garage to take to, i drive a bb ap1. thanks for your time and i cant wait to get down there

 

AV engineering in n charleston is a tuner shop that does custom work. my s2k is there now.

 

If you are looking for general maintenance stuff, I'm sure someone on the board will be happy to help you out.

For more specialized work, I would take it to Hendrick Honda. Ask for Brian. He's their S2000 tech and drives an Ap1 himself. He's a great guy.

For custom work, I have to agree with coolvette. AV-engineering is by far the best place to go.

downtown at meeting street is a great party area,open air clubs,even a outdoor restaraunt on the top of the building(vendue inn). damn i wish i was young enough to party downtown at wet willies, level 2. i hadnt been there since my 40th birthday,many moons ago!
