Default Moving to Charlotte next week!

Hello Carolina S2k owners. I will be moving to the Ballantyne area of Charlotte next week. I'm moving by my self so any advice/recommendations about the area are appreciated.

House or apartment? I have lived in the Ballantyne area for several years.

I am sorry to hear that. I really love Florida, and would love to move there myself. Although I am sure you have a good reason for the move, at any rate, welcome to North Carolina.

Both Robert & myself lived previously at the Summit Ballantyne. I'm not sure of his experiences, but mine was fine. Apartment didn't have the average 2 box layout you find in most local rentals.
Twisties here?
There are some interesting back roads, but nothing that lasts more than five minutes.
I still live in the area. Let me know if you need help moving

Thanks Alan,

No help needed with the move but it would be cool to meet some of the local owners over a drink one of these Fridays.

rjs2k: I'm moving to the Charlotte area the first of June as well, though I have yet to find a place. Still deciding on either the Ballantyne area (Plantation Park at Ballantyne) or Uptown (Cotton Mills). I have to decide shortly as I need to be up there no later than the second week of June.
